Opened on November 30, 1930, as one of Conrad Hilton's early high-rise hotels, the Plaza became a landmark of luxury, glamour, and Old Hollywood history.

In 1955, legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor and her former husband, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton Jr., were among the hotel's famous residents. Today, the rooftop bar La Perla occupies Taylor's former penthouse suite, overlooking downtown El Paso.

Next door, Ámbar Restaurante occupies a property associated with another remarkable chapter in local history: El Paso's pioneering role in early Texas kindergarten education, dating to 1892.

The Plaza Hotel was restored and reopened in 2020, bringing new life to its historic architecture while preserving its distinctive character.

But when the lights go down and the halls grow quiet, it's tempting to wonder what memories might still linger.

A Length

Begin at the collar on the top (high point shoulder) and draw the measuring tape down to the garment's bottom.

B Width

Start the measurement at the seam right below one sleeve and extend the tape across to the seam underneath the opposite sleeve.

C Sleeve length

Position the tape at the top of the set-in sleeve and extend it down to the sleeve's hem.
